MapMart has partnerships with a large variety of private and government companies to help provide the most comprehensive search for historical imagery for any site in the United States. Much of the historical imagery is still stored as rolled film in film canisters with many of the sources but we have an array of photo lab scanners and plotters to turn those film negatives into digital imagery, contact prints, stereo pairs where available and enlargements. Historical imagery research is more manual and a bit more intense than most so a research fee may apply in some cases which will be applied in full to any order placed.
