Seamless DRGs are readily available in any standard projection (State Plane, UTM, Lat/Long NAD 27 or 83).Seamless data are data where the boundaries are defined by the user. Traditionally boundaries have been pre-defined by 7.5', 30' x 60' or 2° x 1° areas of latitude and longitude. Now MapMart allows user to define custom data boundaries by drawing a rectangle for downloading DRGs.

The Tactical Pilot Charts, or TPCs, are map charts available at the 1:500,000 scale and elevation values are in English units (feet). They are useful for investigating the overall terrain of a region. Emphasized feature on these maps are airport information. Correct heading of runways and other flight relevant information is included. As these maps are made for pilots flying relatively quickly over large areas, the built-up area information and the road network information is more basic on this series.
Topographic Base Map includes: Hydrography, depth contours, major and minor towns, railways, main roads, power transmission lines, selected landmark features, contours and spot heights in feet, layer tints, shaded relief, general vegetation and distinctive vegetation.
Aeronautical data features also included: Aerodromes, radio facilities, aeronautical and marine lights, obstructions, isogonals, maximum terrain elevations and maximum elevation figures.

Mapmart has topographic map coverage of over 152 countries. Our maps are available in a variety of digital formats, scales, resolution, and projections and are fully georeferenced and formatted for all GIS/GPS applications.
Geo-referencing
Not only can Mapmart supply you with digital topographic maps, we can supply you with all of your geo-referencing needs. To make our products more user-friendly we can process the map to a projection and datum of your specification.
Geo-referenceing is established by correlating the relationship between an image (row, column) coordinate system and a map (x,y) coordinate system, yielding a digital topographic map opening in GIS software in precise geographic location.

Quality Control
Each topographic map goes through a series of quality control steps to ensure you are provided with the highest quality GIS data for each project. Three steps we use to achieve the highest quality are:
- The raw topographic map is checked against the paper topographic map to verify an accurate digital representation.
- The processed topographic map is carefully inspected to assure that the topographic map is properly geo-referenced.
- The four edges of the processed topographic map are compared to adjoining topographic maps to confirm proper alignment.
Map Scales
Depending upon the printing source of the topographic maps, there are a variety of scales available for any given area of the earth. The following are some of the typical scales for both domestic and international topographic maps.
International Topographic Maps Scale
1:50,000
1:100,000
